China lift ban on release of new video games but left Tencent

China approved the release of 80 new video games after a ban of several months. According to Reuters sources, the Chinese website of the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film, and Television excluded the tech giant Tencent left behind and no game title was included from the Tencent Holdings Limited.

Tencent China is a Chinese multinational investment holding conglomerate and it was founded in 1998 by Ma Huateng, Zhang Zhidong, Xu , Chen Yidan and Zeng Liqing. Tencent subsidiaries in multiple Internet-connected services and products, entertainment, artificial intelligence (AI) and technology both in China and worldwide.
